Culligan celebrates Jones Land Lasalle’s commitment to the reduction of single-use plastic bottles by constantly promoting active actions of sustainable development

The Culligan Oceansaver accolade is given to organisations across the world that have taken steps to reduce single-use plastic bottles in areas of their organisation or operations and recognises the dedication to making significant and meaningful changes that will reduce their negative impact on the environment. By making changes to eradicate the reliance of single-use plastics, they can be prevented from polluting the world’s oceans and reduce their impact on climate change.
Jones Land Lasalle is a leading global real estate services firm who has made sustainability a core pillar of its business strategy. The company has committed to reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by two percent each year, with a goal of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2040.
Being a member of the World Green Building Council and the Urban Land Institute, Jones Land Lasalle has also established a Global Sustainability Board to oversee its sustainability efforts and report on progress to stakeholders. JLL’s commitment to sustainability is further evidenced by its annual sustainability report, which provides detailed information on the company’s environmental and social performance.
Having the Zip Hydrotap units installed in their offices in downtown Warsaw has had a significant positive impact on the environment. Not only does the Zip Hydrotap have several energy-saving features, but it also features an advanced filtration system that reduces the amount of plastic water bottles used by guests and employees, leading to less waste in landfills.
On average having one Zip Hydrotap that is used by 60 people will save more than 300kg of plastic annually, meaning that by using a Culligan hydration system JLL saves the planet around five tons of plastic…per year!
